VER 262L was one of a pair of AEC Reliance coaches purchased by Premier Travel in September of 1972, the other being VER 261L. Both vehicles were used on stage carriage servies in and around Cambridge. Whilst at Premier it carried fleet number 232.

In August of 1981, it was purchased by Percival's Motors (Oxford) Ltd, and was joined by sister vehicle in March of the following year. Both vehicles were used on private hire & contract work, as well as stage work - which included service 39 Cambridge - Oxford, a service which was operated jointly by Percival's and Premier Travel.

In November of 1987, the coach found further service at Tourex Ltd, Oxford, mainly used on school contracts. It was withdrawn from service in November 1998 - a total of 26 years PSV work.

It was then purchased by the present owner, Neil Tidbury, who has currently loaned it to the Oxford Bus Museum.

232 can been seen in the workshops at the Oxford Bus Museum.
